my design process

While most of my work becomes digital, it always starts with a drawing or a scribble. I enjoy using sketchbooks, notebooks, planners, and sometimes my iPad. These are what guides me in the initial communications with the client, as we begin to nail down solid ideas.

Whether the project at hand is just a small logo, or a large identity and branding project, I like to determine three to four creative directions and review them with the client to determine an overall style that meets their specific goals.

Throughout the creation process I will check in with the client to provide updates to them and ensure their needs are still being met, and that they are genuinely excited about whatever I'm making for them. That last part is SUPER important! I want honest communication, in the end, it's my job to create the materials, but to make sure you LOVE them!

The final step happens after we settle on a final idea and finish smoothing out any rough edges. Any last minute adjustments or questions will happen here. A project folder containing a summary of work, invoice, working files, and export files will be sent over.

It's super easy!

I charge a small consultation fee when we first meet, and require a 50% downpayment before beginning to work

It's also non-negotiable

Upon completion of your project, the final invoice will be billed, including the remaining 50% originally discussed, any extra hours for edits or revisions that were not previously discussed in the original agreement.

Really, not bad at all, right?
